Tickets & Reservations: Reservations with Tickets

Q. How can I tell if I have a reservation with my ticket?A. When viewing your search results select details. This will display the fare rules for the fare you are viewing. If it displays reservation and GENERAL TICKET FARE RULES you will have a reserved seat. If it only displays General Ticket Fare Rules then you are only being provided a ticket that is valid on the train. A reservation will not be required or possible. All other detail results will include a reservation in the ticket price.

Q. Does a 1st Class ticket guarantee you a seat on the train?A. No. A ticket allows you to board the train, but does not guarantee you a seat. You must make a seat reservation to have a guaranteed seat on the train.

NOTE: On certain trains tickets and reservations are sold together as one ticket.

Q. Can a seat reservation be made with a 2nd Class ticket?Yes

Q. Where can I find train schedules?A. To find them you only need to select our Train Tickets and Schedules. This is located on the left navigation on all of our pages for your convenience. Provide us with the cities you would like to travel between and your travel date. A selection of schedules will be displayed. Select later train to see more schedules.
